Once a year, we gather around the fire—not because we have to, but because it reminds us where we come from.
This weekend is about preserving a way of life, celebrating our South African heritage, and passing those traditions on to our children.
Around the braai, strangers become friends. Friends become family. Memories become traditions.
Whether you have lived in Kansas for two years or America for forty, this weekend is a chance to hear Afrikaans spoken around the fire, share a potjie, dance a sokkie, worship together, and remember a little piece of home.
The fire is only the beginning. The people are the tradition.
